Italian - Short Course
Beginners course:
This is designed to give you the vocabulary necessary to deal with the following situations:
- Introducing yourself to others
- Going shopping
- Ordering a meal
- At the railway / bus station
- Giving and receiving directions
Intermediate course:
This is designed to give you the following skills:
- Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, or leisure-related topics
- Can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken
- Can produce simple connected texts on topics that are familiar or of personal interest
- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions, as well as opinions or plans in brief

These 12-week programmes are split into beginners or intermediate depending on prior knowledge.
These courses are designed to help build your skills in Italian through a combination of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities.Entry Requirements
No prior knowledge is required for beginners.
Intermediate requires the completion of beginner course or prior knowledge of Italian.
