Travel and Tourism (Beverley)
The travel industry is one of the world’s largest industries which encourages people to dream, explore and discover. If you want to learn more about this exciting industry, then the Travel and Tourism is the course for you. Our travel and tourism programmes create a balance between theory and practical, giving students the best possible grounding in the sector.
Students can study for the Level 2 and the Level 3 programme includes managerial units, to help prepare you for a variety of roles. The programme is taught through realistic workplace-related projects and students benefit from working with industry partner.

Assessment is a combination of external examinations and assessments and internally assessed assignments, practical tasks, presentations or projects which form the basis of the final portfolio of evidence.
Level 2
Four GCSEs grade D/3 or above to include English or maths. Or a Level 1 Diploma (or equivalent).
Level 3
Four GCSEs grade C/4 or above to include English and maths. Or a Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent)
These courses prepare you for a range of employment opportunities in the travel and tourism industry, such as travel agents, air cabin crew, overseas representatives and holiday park hosts. If you would like to take your education further, you may wish to progress onto university to complete a foundation degree or degree in a travel and tourism related subject.
