We are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our kitchen team as an apprentice. This role may particularly suit someone with a passion for cakes and patisserie.

This delightful and welcoming tea room is looking for a motivated individual to join and train alongside their talented kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in cakes, patisserie, and quality homemade food.

What you’ll do at work

As part of the team, you will gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, learning valuable kitchen skills and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of a variety of dishes from our menu

  • Supporting with kitchen organisation and stock rotation

  • Determine the correct tolerances for components of the design.

Your training plan

  • Our Engineering Design Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship is delivered on a college day-release model
  • The successful candidate will attend once day each week (in term-time) at East Riding College, Flemingate Centre, Armstrong Way, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU17 0GH
  • You will complete a mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops, face to face training and online sessions. You’ll also be supported by your colleagues at all times, and will have a full induction
  • You will have a review every 8-12 weeks with your Line Manager and Trainer to discuss
