The TEC Partnership is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Prue Gibson as the new Campus Principal for East Riding College, effective from 1st October 2024.
Hailing from the local area, Prue brings with her an extensive career in education, spanning 29 years of dedication to supporting both young people and adults. She began her educational journey as a lecturer in 1994 at local colleges, progressing to leadership roles in various curriculum areas, and also worked for a qualification awarding organisation.
Upon taking up her new role, Prue stated:
“It was a privilege to step into the position of Campus Principal for East Riding College (Beverley and Hull) and to join the leadership team at the TEC Partnership.
“As a local resident, I am committed to building on the college’s successes and enhancing its impact on the communities we serve. I aim to create opportunities for all learners through innovative and accessible curriculum pathways.
“I am excited to collaborate with our dedicated and passionate staff to ensure that every learner has access to an excellent education that empowers and enables them to progress and succeed.
“Having spent nearly three decades in education, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that education can have on individuals and communities. I am a strong advocate for lifelong learning and am passionate about creating environments where people of all ages can thrive.”
