Learning and Skills Teacher

Further Education and Skills Teachers work in colleges, training providers, adult learning and offender learning settings, teaching students aged 16+ across academic, vocational and technical subjects.

Teaching Assistant

The Teaching Assistant (TA) works across primary, secondary, special schools, alternative provision and further education, supporting learners of all ages and abilities. Their main role is to help teachers improve learners’ progress and development through individual and small-group support. They help learners understand their work, achieve learning objectives and develop positive learning behaviours.
