Foundations

Our foundation programmes give you the chance to develop a wide range of personal, social and work-related skills. You will learn more independently than at school and develop work-related skills. You will work on your core employability skills such as communication, team work and enterprise. We work closely with a range of employers, allowing our foundation students to gain real life work experience and practical skills with wide-ranging application to many different workplaces.

Skills for Working Life (Beverley) The purpose of this qualification is to provide an opportunity for learners to develop a wide range of personal, social and work-related skills that will enable them to become more independent and potentially gain appropriate work-related skills. VIEW COURSE
Skills for Independent Living This newly developed course is specifically for learners to develop independent living, independent travel and community engagement. It is expected that learners have previously undertaken other qualifications prior to starting this course. This course offers the opportunity for a more personalised programme of study. VIEW COURSE
Diploma in Progression (Bridlington) This Progression qualification is designed to introduce learners to a variety of areas of work and the employment opportunities within them. Learners are encouraged to try out a range of vocational areas, find out which they like best and gain a better sense of direction for their future employment. VIEW COURSE
Diploma in Progression (Beverley) This progression qualification is designed to introduce learners to a variety of areas of work and the employment opportunities within them. Skills for Working Life (Bridlington)

The purpose of this qualification is to provide an opportunity for learners to develop a wide range of personal, social and work-related skills that will enable them to become more independent and potentially gain appropriate work-related skills.

 VIEW COURSE
Supported Internship (Beverley) This course is for learners with special educational need (who have an EHC Plan) who want to progress into paid employment. During your internship, you will spend a large amount of time with an employer, gaining work experience, with the aim of giving you a real insight into the world of work. VIEW COURSE
